Explorer Scouts are from age 14 to 18 and are the most senior group in Denmead Scouts. The Phoenix Explorer Unit meets regularly once a week and takes part in a wide variety of scouting activities with the emphasis on Group support, major outdoor activities (e.g. climbing mount Snowden), modern technology and preparation for adulthood.

In addition to the traditional Scouting goals there is also strong support in the Group for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme. See this link: http://www.dofe.org/

Meetings are on Friday evenings 7.00pm – 9.00pm

25 November – QR code treasure hunt

2 December – Cooking and music

4 December – DoE hike

9 December – Christmas meal plus bingo!
