Beavers

Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.
Beavers is for 6 to 8 -year old boys and girls and is their first introduction to the world of Scouting. Our objective is to give them a constructive and fun environment in which to build confidence in meeting a wide range of people from many aspects of Scouting to prepare them so that they will be keen to take the next steps as they become old enough.
We have two Beaver Colonies : the Bere Forest Beaver Colony and Creech Woods Beaver Colony
If you would like your child to join one of the Beaver Colonies, please email the GSL ,who will add their name to the waiting list. Please include the child’s name, address and date of birth and your phone number.
